Take advantage of the holes in the block.
To become a celebrity spiker, you have to be fearless when it comes to hitting against a double block. As a knight you must believe that you have the advantage, and you have the mindset that "assume nobody I mean nobody is on my ball block" and if it was due more to something I can correct with my technique taken as what they did with their block.
Women and girls volleyball players get a lot of blocking andthey tend to think "glorification" of the block, "Oh, this is an amazingly BIG an effective block does not recognize" that 6-7 out of ten cases it was something that they could change or make right with their technology. Whether it is the spike approach timing or not seeing that the court as a hitter you have a lot of options when it comes to the block .... You just have to know what they are.
One of the ways it is for the holes in the block between the middle blocker and the blocker, the viewThey block. Also known as the "seam" of the block, you have no fear for the peak exactly between the two blockers ... especially if it is the aim of blocking out too late. Blockers that do not sense a jump together upstairs, while the other goes down is a good example, if you aim for the hole in the block. If you have to take a shooting set to the faster pace of medium height ball on the outside, then this is a very good option, since the mid-blockers is often too late to setwithout, so aim for the hole that is created.
Use the Block
"The bigger they are The Harder They Fall." No, wait, its "the madder they get when they can not block, because you keep wiping the ball that the 6 '5" giant hands off ".
I am 6 '0 'and I'm proud to say that I've played and against some of the best blockers-outsides and the middle is practiced in the world. I'm just below average with an average size for a straight former elite athletes. In order Italy competeOlympians and world champions and the "relatively small chicks in the front row, I had a choice of weapons to use, have to keep my job.
One of the most successful way, a celebrity spiker is to learn to "wipe the block", aka "Use the block", or "use the blocks hands".
I have seen against the Peruvian and Chinese were Italian players played, 5'6, 5'7, 5'8 ", which could weep great big girl silly from frustration because they would simply wait for the big Block form and then the ball would only aimed to the outside (the arm closest to the antenna) arm of her spike blocker and hit it hard, make the ball come back off the arm and away from the sideline. If you hit this point would make it or you create sideout and that is why these players were always in the game. When they learn to do this ... we can only! You can do this exercise with a coach who stands on a table with a flat board with both hands a few inches above the place> Volleyball net on one side, and you (and maybe a few players for the defense on the other side). It takes practice, specifically the board - Hit want to meet you to go down the line and should be straight, but your "spike follow-through" will finish with the spiking arm coming down in your body so your right arm will end your right hip (or your left arm is on the left hip after each stop, what you do with Spike), so that when the ball comes back, it comes back, eitherstraight down or over your left shoulder to the outside of the volleyball court. Do not turn your body just your arms, the work should do. Hardly a defense to defend in the world is that the ball
You can do this with a ball against your garage. Jump is not just your arm swing practice to believe the ball in one, square (you can use chalk) to make a point about three or four feet above the forehead. Just aim and press stood about 4 meters away from the spot. Their goal is toBall back on their feet on the left side outside the body.
Mix Up Your Shots
Big volleyball secret I want to share here. Spikers look smarter if they do not do all the time to spike. Trust me, you want to seem smart on the court, because then you get respect. People do not know what you do next and you will be unpredictable, which is really cool.
In my other articles I talk about how to see what is going on ... well that the same advice works here. If you are in frontRow and your team has more points you press the "what" out of the ball can see, to see how far is the defense, if you have to take other players, or better yet, ask your defense back to say how far that is the defense when they dug This can give you a hint, like "if" tilt the head and "where" too. Make your back row to help you become a celebrity spiker by being asked "what's open?" They are not there just to dig.
Roll shots are often great right to the middle of the court. IfThey play in a game where there are a lot of long rallies to mix the pace and throw in an off speed shot in the middle of the court ... This will keep the defense honest.
The deep corners of the court hit
Three of my Italian teammates from three different teams, Jana Jurosova from Yugoslavia, Elaina Oden 2-Olympian and Paula Weishoff 3-time Olympian both from the U.S., this would all the time and make it look so easy, especially during long rallies when Any othershall be hard, but still dug by the opposing team. They would always remember that the demonstrations would be crawling over to the defense of the opposing team would be up shorter and shorter before the court towards the ten foot line. It's just habit ... People are as tough as they usually around the 13, 14-foot line, which means the defense would have come to the volleyball court on the balls always leave the right to dig back and left back void, deep corners would(Position 1 and position 5) exposed, open and vulnerable. Paula, Elaina and Jana were the celebrity Spikers remember always that you enjoy and would meet with a high back to the deep corners.
The beauty of the deep corners you meet do not have to do too much too have taken always tough to a deep corner shot effective. No matter what your size .. Learning in Practice "high" and taken a long time and meet a lot of repetition, so that your body and arms to learn and memorize what strength it needs to do for youto get the ball to fall into the deep corners 5,6,7,8 times out of ten. I recommend warming up and playing deep court doubles, triples and 4's before or after practice.
Cross court doubles are great also...have two players one in 4 and one in 5 (meaning a left side front row and a left side back row) player playing a half court (lengthwise) cross court game against players in the same positions on the other side. Front row can stay in those positions or rotate every few points with the back row player ... can meet both players.
Hit the bathroom sets, Tip The Good Ones
Another way to an unpredictable "Celebrity philistine" is to learn the good and the bad sets top crank. You do not need to tip any good set especially if you have a vs with a block or have no block but do it enough against a double block to guess your opponents.
In the first series I've seen, except just outside hitters rip their setters verbally and nonverbally, becauseShe had not put them thought they were suspect. Frankly, this gets on my last nerve because an outside good knights should learn to take everything if they want to be a good hitter. They should want that responsibility. Well then the setter is needed to do their job, but if you do occurs outside hitter you need to "Man Up" and learn to attack EVERYTHING.
If a setter sets the ball high and is in its significance directly on the antenna andInstead of the other only on the side of the middle-blocker you need to haul butt, correct or adjust your approach and the ball. Get inside and hit it!. For this reason I talk about learning to monitor and read real "and see" what is going on. After hundreds of reps between you and your setter in practice you should get to a point where you say if she is in trouble.
"Hey Lisa, our setter has to chase a bad pass and moves down and the only other hitter besides me in thefront row on the floor, and we do not have a back row hitter sooooooo ... what's a girl to do something new? Stay ready, a few steps toward your setter because it is more than likely, they do not get that, take the ball all the way to you. Do not expect the ball to be perfectly adjusted, but the need to wait to move. Then, because everyone in the gym you expect to tip the ball Hit the ball broke on that play. Hitting these types of balls during broken plays, live what celebrity Spikers. You just gofor it.
Learn to hit the ugly and tip the beautiful. Remember the ball is in YOUR hands!
P.S. Always talk to your setter during a broken play if you make any adjustments or changes talk to her during the play so she can hear where you are or where you plan to be.
