Whether you play basketball, volleyball or other sports that always requires that you need directly to you just jump higher. The good news is that you learn how to jump higher fairly quickly. It is not impossible to gain an inch in vert every week for a few months with the right training. I stress that you know what you do or you could waste a lot of time and energy.

These athletes have been jumping and jump training is the best on the planet. How do I know? Because I have played with the pros and know what is required to jump high in the sand.

Nobody can, of course, high jump in the sand, it takes a lot of training to be able to get out of deep sand. Plyometrics are crucial in the workout routine of a beach volleyball player. Whatplyometrics? They are exercises designed to produce both the muscle and speed to power. You can not have power without the combination of both.

You get the power, by doing your workouts with weights much like a bodybuilder look, but you focus more on the superior speed of movement than the amount of weight. You get the speed by jumping things like box. Jumping on or off a box will train your Golgi tendon reflex to react with more force, which will lead youto jump higher.

Go fly a kite! There are literally dozens of shops around town where you can buy a sturdy, colorful kite that will soar high in the sky. Why not take a picnic lunch for a day of kite flying, Frisbee throwing and beach volleyball?
Rent a pontoon boat and cruise down the Intracoastal Waterway. You can take a packed lunch and refreshments and make a whole day of it, or simply rent your boat by the hour. Explore the numerous inlets between Myrtle Beach and Georgetown.
